Did you know that the Market Day fundraiser benefits the Youth Ministry? Over the past few years, we were able to use thousands of dollars to pay for buses, to offset the cost of retreat and other events, get training for the Young Apostles and Core Team, and so much more!

The only way that this can happen is if we have enough volunteers. Once a month, the Market Day truck arrives at St. Ferdinand. It must be unloaded and all of the food needs sorted. Then all of the orders are packed and distributed to the customers as they come to pick them up.

It’s not hard work, but we need lots of people to pull it all together. The dates for 2010-11 are September 11, October 9, November 6, December 4, January 15, February 12, March 12, April 9, May 14, and June 11.

All you need to do is show up at the Small Hall at 10:00 a.m. You’ll be done by 1:00 p.m. at the latest.

You will be doing the parish a huge service, helping the YM get funds for events, and you even get Living Stations points for helping out…it’s a win, win, win situation!
